Since Peppershock's inception in 2003, Rhea Allen has managed and expanded the woman owned business and has gained local notoriety in her persistent passion for causes. She is involved with the communities of Idaho and has a vast working knowledge of how to generate awareness for a number of brands and causes. She is extremely diligent in obtaining effective media campaign results by planning and crafting relevant and compelling messaging for the target audience. Rhea oversees development of all Peppershock projects, from project conception through distribution and follow-up. As an in-demand Integrative Marketing Consultant, Rhea was a primary proponent of social marketing and traditional media integration within the industry.
Rhea's work experience includes work for clients such as the Idaho Department of Education, Mountain Home Airforce Base, Plexis, Intermountain Community Bancorp, Idaho Commission on the Arts, Canyon County Fair & Festival, Idaho Nonprofit Center, Handyman Connection, Premier Alliance, Central District Health and more. In addition to her expertise as Social Media Director, Rhea has in-depth experience in media strategy and planning and has directed many award winning videos with the Peppershock Production crew. She has a passion for discovering and telling stories through visual and audible mediums. Her television news & promotions background provides investigative, documentary, testimonial and "edutainment" style to her celebrated work. Peppershock has proven continued success with campaigns, the Canyon County Fair and Festival showed a nearly 15% increase in attendance the first year Peppershock was their agency in 2010 and also had a record breaking single day of attendance with nearly 16,000 attendees on the Saturday of the Fair.
Rhea Allen, Peppershock President/CEO, is frequently called upon to speak to non-profit, professional and civic organizations, to share her expertise in the advertising and marketing fields. In 2008, Peppershock was responsible in securing a "Smart Women, Smart Money" grant from Zion's Bank for the Nampa Family Justice Center to produce an awareness and event promotion campaign. Rhea's involvement in the community has brought Peppershock many opportunities to forge great partnerships and relationships with numerous businesses throughout the entire Treasure Valley and Pacific Northwest Region.
As a community leader Rhea has served on several boards and committees and deeply understands the intricacies of a working board. She was recently nominated to serve on the Idaho Shakespeare Festival Board and currently she is a Nampa Rotary Club Board Member, a Nampa Chamber of Commerce Board Member and in the past was a founding member of the Boise Young Professionals group where she was an instrumental part in building what is now a group of over 1000 members. She serves on the Advisory Board for the Pix Theatre Foundation, working toward renovating the old Pix Theatre and helped start NYPD (Nampa Young Professional Division of the Nampa Chamber of Commerce). She contributes her efforts to the Go Red for Women campaign for the American Heart Association and provides brand consulting with a team of experts to the Girl Scouts of Silver Sage of Idaho.
She and her husband Drew Allen, own and operate Peppershock Media together along with a staff of 8 dedicated employees. Drew and Rhea have two young boys together; Emerson in Kindergarten and Kaden turns 3 in December 2010.
